Licensed Land Surveyor

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
In general, the duties of the Licensed Land Surveyor include:

Perform all aspects of land surveying, including field and office work, working individually or as part of a team.

Prepare and/or review and sign maps, plats, legal descriptions, and all survey work products.

Occasionally work out of town and overnight (less than 10%).

Establish budgets for survey work.
-
Manage surveying and mapping projects including scheduling.
Qualifications:
-
Self-starter, motivated for personal and professional growth and development.
-
Possess a Professional Land Surveyor’s License in the State of California, or have the ability to obtain one within 6 months.

Minimum of two – years of formal education with an emphasis in land surveying.

California driver’s license.
-
Physically able to perform field survey duties in varying terrain and weather conditions.

Must be able to lift 70lbs and walk long distances over rough terrain while carrying equipment.

Proficient with Autocad Civil 3D.

Experienced in ALTA surveys, boundary surveys and resolutions, preparation of Tentative Maps, Final Maps, topographic mapping, aerial control surveys, and construction staking.
